PSET Dialogue: Credential Transparency Description Language
The PSET CLOUD team recently hosted a webinar as part of the PSET CLOUD International Support Network, featuring guest speakers Scott Cheney and Deborah Everhart from Credential Engine. During the webinar, they provided insights into the distinctions between credentials and qualifications, as well as their efforts to support government systems at both the state and federal levels.
Additionally, Scott and Deborah discussed their focus on creating open data technologies that can better serve learners, as well as their commitment to ensuring data privacy. They highlighted the importance of state-level decision-making in meeting the needs of learners, and the potential advantages of localised decision-making over federal agency oversight.
